We include a children’s message at every Sunday service during Our Time With Children, where kids are invited to sit up front on the Chancel steps for conversation and an age-appropriate message. They are then dismissed and escorted downstairs for our youth programming – Connect 3.
Our children and youth programs have room to grow, and we are always excited to welcome new families who are interested in getting involved.
More About Our Youth ProgrammingYes, our nursery is staffed during the 10:15 am service and is open to children ages 0-3.
Yes! St. John’s claimed our Open and Affirming congregation identity in 2015. Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ’s (UCC) designation for congregations, campus ministries, and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. St. John’s UCC Lansdale is proud to claim this designation as an Open and Affirming congregation!
Yes, we make audio recordings of our services available each week. Full service audio is available on our website and YouTube channel, and sermon audio is uploaded to Spotify. Though we don’t currently have video or livestreaming, we are looking into it for the future!
