Summer at St. John’s brings changes to our worship schedule, along with some special Sundays to prepare for. Here is what you need to know!

One Worship Service

Starting Sunday, June 7, there will be one worship service at 9:30 am. Our normal schedule resumes Sunday, September 13.

No Connect3 or LOFT

Our children’s program, Connect3, will meet until Sunday, June 14 before taking a pause for the summer. Everyone is welcome to take advantage of the soft worship space in the sanctuary, which many of our young ones enjoy!

See our events page for information about VBS, Music Camp, and other summer activities for kids.

LOFT, our faith formation programming for adults, will also break for the summer. Look out for more info about our fall schedule and topics.

Key Dates

  • Pride Sunday – June 14 @ 9:30 am
Pride Sunday is one way we celebrate and affirm the diversity of God’s people. We welcome you to wear colorful clothing and/or your St. John’s rainbow t-shirt!
  • Water Sunday – September 13 @ 10:15 am
We invite you to collect a small amount of water from a special place that brings you rest, (the ocean, the lake, the garden hose….). The water will be combined during worship on September 13, purified, and used for baptisms throughout the year. There are bottles available in the Sanctuary, or you can use your own. Please label your bottle with your name and the location where you collected the water.
